1. Important Dates

  • Notification Released: January 12, 2026
  • Online Application Starts: January 15, 2026

2. Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualification

  1. Senior Secondary (10+2): Must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
  2. CET Qualification: Must have appeared and qualified in the Rajasthan CET (Senior Secondary Level) 2024.
  3. Computer Qualification: Candidates must possess any one of the following:
  • RS-CIT certificate.
  • DOEACC “O” Level or higher.
  • COPA/DPCS certificate.
  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Applications.

B. Age Limit (As of 01.01.2027)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 40 Years
  • (Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Women candidates as per Rajasthan Government rules.)

3. Application Fees (One-Time Registration)

Rajasthan follows an OTR (One-Time Registration) fee system. If you have already paid this fee for a previous 2024/25 recruitment, you do not need to pay again.

4. Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two phases:

  1. Phase-I (Written Exam): Two objective-type papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2).
  2. Phase-II (Typing Test): Candidates who qualify Phase-I will undergo a typing and proficiency test in both Hindi and English.
  3. Document Verification: Final stage for merit-listed candidates.

5. Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Paper-I (3 Hours | 100 Marks)

  • General Knowledge
  • Everyday Science
  • Mathematics

Paper-II (3 Hours | 100 Marks)

  • General Hindi
  • General English

Note: There will be a negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong answer.


6. How to Apply Online

  1. Go to the SSO Rajasthan portal: http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. Log in using your SSO ID and Password.
  3. Click on the “Recruitment Portal”.
  4. Find the link for “LDC Grade-II / Junior Assistant 2026”.
  5. Complete your OTR (if not done) and fill out the application form.
  6. Upload your latest photo and signature, and submit.
