CTET Answer Key 2026 Released: Download Paper 1 & 2 PDF Now!

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the CTET 2026 Answer Key today, March 12, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test on February 7 and 8, 2026, can now download the provisional answer key along with their scanned OMR response sheets.
This release includes answer keys for both Paper 1 (Classes I-V) and Paper 2 (Classes VI-VIII). Candidates can use these to calculate their estimated scores before the final results are declared.

How to Download CTET 2026 Answer Key PDF

  • Follow these simple steps to access your response sheet and the official key
  • Visit Official Site: Go to the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
  • Find the Link: Click on the link “CTET Feb-2026 Key Challenge / Scanned Images of OMR” on the homepage.
  • Login: Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
  • View PDF: Your OMR sheet and the provisional answer key will appear on the screen.
  • Download: Save the PDF (OMR Sheet And Awnser Key) for score calculation and future reference.

Kindly read following instructions carefully:

  1. Download the Answer Key and check the CODE and your CODE for Main, Language1 and Language2 paper. The answer key applicable to you is depending upon the CODE administered to you. For example if your CODE is “B” then the answer key applicable will be of “B” only.
  2. In case you want to submit challenge against the Answer Key published, you can submit your challenge by clicking on “Submit Key Challenge” link above given against the relevant paper. There is no other mode of submitting Answer Key challenge.
  3. You can submit challenge against Answer Key only once for each paper. Once the Challenge submitted has been finalized, it can not be changed.
  4. After submission of Answer Key challenge please click on “Make Payment” link given above to pay the fee online. There is no other mode of depositing fee except online mode.
  5. Answer Key challenge will be accepted only once the requisite fee is deposited successfully. There is a fee of Rs 1000/- per question for challenge. No challenge will be accepted without submission of fee. This fee is non-refundable.
  6. The Answer Key is subject to revision on merit.
  7. Decision of Examining Body shall be final and binding upon all while finalizing the Answer Key.

How to Challenge the Answer Key?
If you find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key, you can raise an objection through the official portal.

  • Fee: Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹1,000 per question.
  • Verification: If the challenge is accepted by the subject experts, a policy decision will be made and the final answer key will be updated.
    Qualifying Marks for CTET 2026
  • General Category: 60% (90 out of 150 marks).
  • OBC/SC/ST/PwD: 55% (82 out of 150 marks).
    What’s next? After reviewing the challenges, CBSE will release the final answer key and the CTET 2026 Result, which is expected by the end of March 2026.
