Introduction

The Women Welfare & Child Development Department, Uttar Pradesh, has invited online applications for the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers and Helpers. This recruitment is being conducted in a decentralized manner, meaning each district has its own specific timeline and vacancy count.

Unlike typical competitive exams, the selection for UP Anganwadi Bharti 2026 is strictly merit-based. Candidates are evaluated on their academic performance (10th, 12th, and Graduation marks). It is mandatory for applicants to be female residents of the specific Gram Sabha or Ward where the vacancy exists, ensuring that the services are provided by locals who understand the community’s needs.
