🎓 Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
The requirements vary significantly between the two major grades:
- Technician Grade 1 (Signal):
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or Instrumentation.
- OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the above-mentioned streams.
- OR Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant engineering streams.
- Technician Grade 3:
- Matriculation/SSLC (10th Pass) PLUS ITI Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trades (Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Machinist, etc.).
- OR 10th Pass PLUS Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).
- Note: For S\&T categories, 10+2 with Physics and Maths may also be eligible.
2. Age Criteria (As of July 01, 2026)
- Technician Grade 1: 18 to 33 Years.
- Technician Grade 3: 18 to 30 Years.
- Age Relaxation: Standard relaxation applies for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), and PwBD (10 years).
💰 Application Fees
The fee is partially refundable after appearing for the first stage of the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹500/- (₹400 refundable after CBT).
- SC / ST / Ex-SM / PwBD / Female / Transgender: ₹250/- (Fully refundable after CBT).

Selected candidates will receive salaries according to the 7th CPC Pay Matrix:
