3. Eligibility Criteria (As of 01.01.2026)
A. Educational Qualification
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Civil Engineering with min. 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Must have completed on/after June 1, 2021.
- Technician Apprentice (B.Sc): Full-time B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology with min. 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). Must have completed on/after June 1, 2021.
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): High School with Maths/Science + ITI in relevant trade (Electrician, Fitter, COPA, etc.) with min. 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
B. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
- (Relaxation: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years).
4. Selection Process & Syllabus
The selection is not based on a general competitive exam but on a specialized screening process:
- Online Examination: A Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering:
- Technical/Trade Subject Knowledge: 100 Questions
- Aptitude/Reasoning/English: 50 Questions
- Personal Interview: For candidates who clear the online test.
- Medical Examination: Final step before the training contract.
