1. Important Dates

Candidates must strictly adhere to the following timeline for the 2026 session:

  • Notification Release: January 09, 2026
  • Online Application Starts: February 02, 2026

2. Application Fees

As per the recent HSSC policy for Group C Mains:

3. Eligibility Criteria (As of 01.01.2026)

A. Basic Qualifications

  • Educational: 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board or university.
  • CET Requirement: Only candidates who have qualified for the Haryana CET Group-C are eligible to apply for this Mains phase.
  • Language: Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric (10th) or higher education.

C. Age Limit

4. Selection Process & Syllabus

Phase 1: Stenography Skill Test (Qualifying)
Candidates must pass the shorthand and transcription test. This stage is qualifying in nature and does not add to the final merit.

Phase 2: Written Examination (Scoring)
The written exam will be Offline (OMR Based) with 100 Multiple Choice Questions.

  • Total Marks: 100 | Duration: 105 Minutes
  • No Negative Marking.

Syllabus Weightage:

  1. Subject Related (Stenography Theory): 70%
  2. General Awareness & Reasoning: 20%
  3. Computer Fundamentals: 10%
