This recruitment drive is part of the Skill India Mission and aims to fill approximately 3,979 vacancies across various Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories nationwide.

1. Important Dates & Application Fees

Candidates must note the following timeline to avoid missing the deadline.

  • Short Notification Released: January 13, 2026
  • Online Application Starts: February 01, 2026

  • General / OBC: ₹200 + GST
  • SC / ST / Female / PwD / Transgender: ₹100 + GST

2. Eligibility Criteria & Vacancy Details

Vacancy Distribution

  • Non-ITI Category: 1,136 Posts
  • Ex-ITI Category: 2,843 Posts

Educational Qualification

  • For Non-ITI: Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Additionally, a minimum of 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each is required.
  • For Ex-ITI: Must have passed Class 10 with 50% marks AND have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute with at least 50% marks.

Age Limit (as of 03.03.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 14 Years (18 years for hazardous trades).
  • Maximum Age: 35 Years.
  • (Age relaxation as per Govt. rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC).

3. Selection Process & Stipend

The selection is purely merit-based. There will be no written examination.

  1. Merit List: Prepared factory-wise based on 10th marks (for Non-ITI) and an average of 10th + ITI marks (for Ex-ITI).
  2. Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates must verify their original certificates.
  3. Medical Examination: Conducted by the respective Ordnance Factory.

Monthly Stipend:

  • Non-ITI Apprentices: ₹6,000 – ₹7,000 (Approx.)
  • Ex-ITI Apprentices: ₹8,000 – ₹9,600 (Approx.)
