2. Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process is multi-staged, designed to test both mental awareness and physical fitness.
Written Examination (CBT/OMR)
- Subject: General Knowledge (includes UP Specific, Science, History, and Polity).
- Total Questions: 100 Objective Type.
- Total Marks: 100 Marks.
- Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours).
- Marking: +1 per correct answer. No negative marking (Check notification for latest update).
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score at least 25% to be considered for the merit list.

Instructions for Sample OMR Sheet
- Use Only Ballpoint Pen: Candidates must use a Black or Blue ballpoint pen for filling circles.
- Correct Marking: Darken the circles completely. Half-filled or ticked marks will not be evaluated.
- Roll Number/Booklet ID: Fill these carefully; errors in these sections will lead to disqualification.
- No Whitener: Use of whitener or erasing ink on the OMR sheet is strictly prohibited.
