Introduction

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Tier 2 (Mains) Admit Card for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025-26 today, January 15, 2026. Approximately 1.39 lakh candidates who cleared the Tier 1 exam are eligible to appear for the Mains, which is scheduled for January 18 and 19, 2026.

Candidates must download their e-admit cards immediately from the official regional SSC portals to check their specific exam center and shift timings.

1. SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Schedule

The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts. Below is the tentative timing structure for the 2026 Mains:

2. How to Download SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card

  1. Visit the official SSC website: [suspicious link removed].
  2. Click on the “Admit Card” tab at the top of the homepage.
  3. Select your specific Regional Website (e.g., NR, WR, CR, SR, etc.).
  4. Click on the link “STATUS / DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD FOR TIER 2 OF CGL EXAM-2025”.
  5. Enter your Registration ID / Roll Number and Date of Birth.
  6. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Download the PDF and take two clear printouts.

3. Documents to Carry to the Exam Hall

Candidates must carry the following items; otherwise, entry will be strictly prohibited:

  • Printed Copy of Admit Card: Mandatory.
  • Original Photo ID Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport.
  • Date of Birth Proof: If your ID does not have your full DOB (Date/Month/Year), carry a Class 10th certificate or birth certificate.
  • Two Passport Size Photos: Recent color photographs.

4. Important Instructions

  • Reporting Time: Reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. The gate will close exactly 30 minutes before the exam starts.
  • Prohibited Items: No electronic gadgets (smartwatches, mobile phones, calculators) or jewelry are allowed inside.
  • City Intimation: If your admit card is not yet available, check the “City Intimation Slip” released on Jan 9, 2026, for your city and date.
