2. Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following:

  1. Class 10th (Matriculation) Pass from a recognized board.
  2. ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate from NCVT/SCVT.
  3. National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

B. Age Limit (As of 01.01.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 33 Years
  • Age Relaxation: * OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • PwBD: 10 to 15 Years (As per category)

3. Application Fees

The application fee includes a partial refund after appearing in the Computer Based Test (CBT).

4. Selection Process

The selection is conducted through a multi-stage process designed to test both mental and physical fitness:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Objective type online exam.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Checking of original certificates.
  4. Medical Examination: Final health check-up.

5. Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The CBT consists of 100 questions to be solved in 90 minutes.

  • General Science: 25 Questions (10th Standard Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences)
  • Mathematics: 25 Questions (Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry)
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 Questions (Analogies, Coding-Decoding, Puzzles)
  • General Awareness & Current Affairs: 20 Questions (Science, Sports, Culture, Economics)

Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 1/3rd mark for every incorrect answer.


6. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Standards

Candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify:
