Introduction

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released the official notification for the engagement of apprentices across various States and Union Territories. With a total of 5,138 vacancies, this drive is designed to provide practical training in banking operations to graduates.

The selection will be conducted through an Online Written Test, followed by a Local Language Test and medical verification. Shortlisted candidates will undergo training for one year (52 weeks), receiving a monthly stipend based on their branch location. The online application portal activates on February 8, 2026.

2. Eligibility Criteria (as of 01.01.2026)

A. Educational Qualification

  • Must have a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Result must have been declared on or before December 31, 2025.
  • Proficiency in the Local Language (reading, writing, speaking) of the applied State/UT is mandatory.

B. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years.
  • (Born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2006).
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD.

The selection is based on an Online Computer Based Test (CBT):
