Introduction

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has officially declared the written examination result for the Food Safety Officer (FSO) Recruitment 2025-26 (Advt. No. 04/2025). The results were announced on January 21, 2026, following the written exam conducted on December 14, 2025.

This recruitment drive, which was initially advertised for 67 posts, was recently revised to fill 123 vacancies under the Public Health and Medical Education Department. A total of 480 candidates have been shortlisted for the next phase: the Interview and Document Verification (DV) stage. 1. Important Dates & Deadlines

  • Result Declaration: January 21, 2026
  • Last Date for Document Submission: February 05, 2026
  • Late Submission with ₹3000 Penalty: Feb 06 – Feb 12, 2026
  • Late Submission with ₹25,000 Penalty: Feb 13 – till 1 day before Interview

2. Selection Process & Eligibility

The selection is based on a three-tier process:

  1. Written Examination: 450 Marks (CBT/OMR based).
  2. Interview: 50 Marks.
  3. Document Verification: Mandatory for all shortlisted candidates.

Eligibility (Recap):

  • Education: Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Medicine.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 40 years (as of 01.01.2026), with relaxations for MP domicile candidates.

3. How to Check MPPSC FSO Result 2026

  1. Visit the official website: mppsc.mp.gov.in.
  2. Go to the “Results” section on the homepage.
  3. Look for the link: “Written Exam Result – Food Safety Officer Examination 2025”.
  4. Download the PDF. The result is divided into Part A (Main List – 382 candidates) and Part B (Provisional List – 98 candidates).
  5. Use Ctrl+F to search for your Roll Number.

4. Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The written exam consisted of 150 questions for a total of 450 marks:

  • Part A (General Knowledge of MP): 50 Questions (150 Marks).
  • Part B (Food Science & Technology): 100 Questions (300 Marks).
  • Marking: +3 for correct answers; -1 for incorrect answers.

5. Document Verification (DV) Instructions

All 480 shortlisted candidates must submit self-attested copies of the following documents to the MPPSC office (Indore) by February 5, 2026:

  • Online Application Form & Admit Card.
  • High School Marksheet (Birth proof).
  • All educational certificates/degrees.
  • MP Domicile & Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
