3. Eligibility Criteria

This post has very specific educational requirements. You must meet ONE of the following criteria:

A. Educational Qualification:

  1. Engineering Degree: Minimum 2nd Class Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Metallurgical, Textile, Chemical, Computer, or Electronics & Telecommunication.
  2. OR Honours Degree: Minimum 2nd Class Honours Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry.
  3. OR Management: MBA or PG Diploma in Management from an AICTE recognized institute.
  4. OR Professional: CA (ICAI) / ICWA / Degree in Pharmacy / Silk Technology / Leather Technology.

B. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2025):

  • SC / ST: 42 Years

4. Application Fees

5. Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The selection process consists of three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview.

Stage 1: Preliminary Exam (Objective Type)

  • Total Marks: 150
  • Duration: 2 Hours 15 Minutes
  • Subjects:
  1. Indian Economics & Industries: 70 Marks (Major Focus)
  2. Current Affairs (National/International): 40 Marks
  3. Mental Ability (Reasoning): 40 Marks

Stage 2: Main Written Exam

Only candidates who clear the Prelims will appear for Mains.

  1. General Hindi: 100 Marks (Qualifying, 30% required)
  2. General English: 100 Marks (Qualifying, 30% required)
  3. General Knowledge: 200 Marks
  4. Optional Subject: 200 Marks

Stage 3: Interview

  • Marks: 100
  • Final merit list is based on Mains (GK + Optional) + Interview marks.

6. How to Apply Online

  3. Complete the Registration using your Email and Mobile Number.
  4. Log in and fill the Application Form with personal and educational details.
  5. Upload scanned Photo and Signature (keep them under 15-25 KB).
  6. Pay the Application Fee online.
  7. Download and print the final submitted application form (Hard copy is not to be sent).
