• Mazdoor: 296 Posts (Most vacancies)
• Other Group C Posts: 52 Posts
  • Includes: Raftman, Grader, Assistant Sawyer, Beltman, Oiler, Timber Recorder, Tallyman, and Grinder.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• For All Posts: Must have passed Secondary School Examination (10th Std.) from a recognized Board/Institution.
• Technical Posts: Some posts like Grader or Asst. Sawyer may prefer an ITI Certificate in the concerned trade.
• Physical Standards: Must have a good physique and qualify in the prescribed trade/physical tests.
• Specific Skills: Raftman candidates must know Swimming/Diving.

2. Age Limit (As of Closing Date)

• Male Candidates: 18 to 33 Years
• Female Candidates: 18 to 38 Years
• Relaxation: 5 years for ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 40 years for Central Govt. Employees.

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
• ST / Women Candidates: Exempted (Free)

💸 Salary Details

All posts fall under Pay Matrix Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900).

• Approx. In-hand Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹28,000 per month (including Island Special Allowance and other benefits).

1. Physical Test: Level-I (Running), Level-II (Long Jump), and Level-III (Weight Carrying).
2. Trade Test: Specifically for technical posts (Grinder, Sawyer, etc.).
3. Document Verification: Verification of original 10th marksheet and category certificates.
4. Medical Examination.
