4. Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Stage 1: Preliminary Exam (400 Marks)

  • Paper-I (GS): 100 Questions | 200 Marks (Indian History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Science, etc.)
  • Paper-II (Jharkhand GS): 100 Questions | 200 Marks (History, Culture, Heritage, and Economy of Jharkhand)
  • Duration: 2 Hours each. No Negative Marking.

Stage 2: Main Exam (950 Marks)

  • 6 Descriptive Papers including Language, Literature, and General Studies.

Stage 3: Interview (100 Marks)

  • Personality test to assess suitability for administrative services.
