3. Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following degrees from a recognized university:

  1. Degree in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.).
  2. MBBS Degree (Regular).
  3. Note: Diploma holders and final-year students are NOT eligible.

B. Practical Experience

  • Duration: Minimum 2 years of practical experience.
  • Relevant Field: Engineering, Technology, or Medical field within a Govt, PSU, or private factory.
  • Factory Requirement: The experience must be from a factory employing at least 500 workers or having 25 HP power load.

C. Age Limit (As of 01.08.2025)

  • General (Male): 21 – 37 Years
  • BC / EBC / General (Female): 21 – 40 Years
  • SC / ST (Male & Female): 21 – 42 Years

5. Selection Process & Syllabus

Unlike general exams, the selection for Factory Inspector is primarily Merit and Interview based.

  1. Evaluation of Qualification Marks (100 Marks):
  • Matriculation: 10 Marks
  • Intermediate: 20 Marks
  • Graduation: 60 Marks
  • Post-Graduation: 10 Marks
  1. Interview: Assessing technical knowledge and suitability for the role.

Note: There is no traditional competitive written syllabus for this post. Candidates are judged based on their academic excellence and relevant field experience.
