2. Eligibility Criteria
A. Paper 1 (Classes I to V)
- 12th Pass with 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education).
- OR 12th Pass with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education).
B. Paper 2 (Classes VI to VIII)
- Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education).
- OR Graduation with 50% marks + 1-year B.Ed (Bachelor of Education).
- OR 12th Pass with 50% marks + 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed.
3. Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Both papers consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be solved in 150 minutes. There is no negative marking.
Paper 1 (Primary Stage):
- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Marks
- Language I (Punjabi): 30 Marks
- Language II (English): 30 Marks
- Mathematics: 30 Marks
- Environmental Studies: 30 Marks
Paper 2 (Elementary Stage):
- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Marks
- Language I (Punjabi): 30 Marks
- Language II (English): 30 Marks
- Subject-Specific (Math & Science OR Social Studies): 60 Marks
