2. Vacancy Details & Eligibility
The vacancies are divided between the Unarmed Branch (UB) and Armed Branch (AB).

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC.
3. Physical Standards (PST & PET)
Candidates must pass the Physical Test before moving to the written exam.
A. Physical Measurement (PST)
- Height (General/OBC/SC): Male: 162.5 cm | Female: 154 cm
- Height (ST): Male: 160 cm | Female: 152 cm
- Chest (Male Only): 80 cm (Normal) | 85 cm (Expanded)
B. Physical Efficiency (PET)
- Male: 3,200 Meters race in 14 Minutes | Long Jump: 335 cm (3 chances)
- Female: 1,600 Meters race in 8 Minutes | Long Jump: 244 cm (3 chances)
4. Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The written test consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on the Class 9 & 10 level syllabus.
- Total Marks: 50 Marks (0.5 mark per question)
- Negative Marking: None
- Duration: 2 Hours
Subject-wise Syllabus:
- Elementary Arithmetic: Number System, Ratio, Percentage, Average, Time & Work.
- General English: Grammar, Synonyms/Antonyms, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Structure.
- Logical Reasoning: Puzzles, Coding-Decoding, Relationship, Mental Ability.
- Assam GK: History, Geography, Polity, and Economy of Assam.
- General Awareness: Current Affairs (National & International), Science & Environment.

- Register to generate your Assam Police Recruitment ID.
- Log in with your ID and fill in personal and educational details.
- Upload your Passport Photo (white background) and Signature.

- Submit the form (No fee required) and print the acknowledgement.
