Introduction
The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has announced the Special Branch Constable (General Duty) recruitment drive for 83 vacancies. This recruitment is unique because, unlike general constable roles, the selection process for the Special Branch (General Closed Cadre) focuses primarily on written intelligence and physical measurements, without the traditional Physical Efficiency Test (PET) like running or high jump.
Eligible Indian citizens (both male and female) can apply online starting from February 6, 2026. Selected candidates will serve in Pay Level-3, enjoying all the benefits and allowances provided to Bihar Government employees.
