2. Vacancy Breakdown & Salary

  • Total Posts: 155
  • Clerk: 80 Posts (UR-27, SC-13, BC-15, EWS-08, Others-17)
  • Stenographer Grade-III: 75 Posts (UR-25, SC-12, BC-14, EWS-07, Others-17)
  • Salary: ₹25,500/- per month (Consolidated/Fixed).

3. Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualification

  • For Both Posts: Candidates must possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • For Clerk: Additionally, the candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Hindi as one of the subjects.

B. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • Minimum: 18 Years
  • Maximum: 42 Years
  • (Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per Haryana Government rules).

4. Selection Process & Syllabus

The selection criteria differ for each post:

For Clerk Posts

  1. Written Examination (100 Marks):
  • English Composition: 50 Marks (Qualifying: 33%)
  • General Knowledge: 50 Marks (Qualifying: 33%)
  • Aggregate Qualifying: 40%
  1. Computer Proficiency Test: Candidates qualifying for the written test will undergo a Typing Test in English at a speed of 30 w.p.m. (Qualifying only).

For Stenographer Grade-III

  1. Shorthand Test: 80 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and 20 w.p.m. transcription speed on a computer.
  2. Computer Proficiency Test: Assessment of word processing and spreadsheet skills.

5. How to Apply (Offline Process)

Since there is no online portal for this recruitment, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Application Proforma from the official website gurugram.dcourts.gov.in
  2. Fill in all details: Name, Father’s Name, DOB, Sex, Category, Education, etc.
  3. Attach self-attested photocopies of educational certificates, age proof (10th mark sheet), and category certificates.
  4. Paste one recent passport-size photograph on the form and attach another.
  5. Send the envelope by registered post or deliver by hand to:
